Brightmine is the only platform I trust when it comes to my regular use. I know if I need something I will be able to locate it easily and know the content is accurate and user friendly. Whereas some providers are more difficult to navigate. I love how comprehensive the documents are and easy to use and download/apply to our working situation

I needed an equivalent to an advisor and "font of all knowledge". As most HR teams experience, we are exposed to a huge number of different scenarios and problems to solve and XpertHR has, so far fulfilled that. I hadn't used it before but know people who recommended it so didn't spend too much time looking elsewhere. HR-Inform was very basic.

Brightmine has more expansive details of state laws than SHRM. We often receive SHRM articles that offer new insight or instruction on compliance. Although these articles are valuable, they may have gaps in knowledge that can be fulfilled through Brightmine. Both are great resources, and we utilize both platforms.

In my opinion, Brightmine blows SHRM away! Brightmine is easy to use, easy to follow, very competent and reliable. I think SHRM is difficult to use and very convoluted. In my experience, the customer service with SHRM is up to a week to respond but with Brightmine is usually 24 hours, what a difference. I really enjoy everything about Brightmine and what it has to offer.

Brightmine was a resource provided by my employer, whereas SHRM I had to purchase on my own. I think they are both comparable to each other, but ever since Brightmine re-branded, I feel that the layout is much more inviting and user-friendly.

Brightmine has many more resources and information than SHRM, and it's easy to filter and find exactly what you are looking for. SHRM tends to have more articles that you have to read through to get information from, versus Brightmine breaking things down by section where you can quickly click through and identify what you need.

We also use SHRM but i do not use that platform as much i really only use that site for articles. I personally am not aware of any other software that we use. I believe upper management has acccess to more than the generalits to. I was not in the decision making process
