Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine

I use Brightmine to verify that we are meeting local, state, and federal compliance standards within our organization. The 50-state charts are extremely helpful in identifying the requirements that need to be met, especially since our company operates in a majority of the U.S.

Pros

  • The platform itself is very user friendly and easy to navigate
  • The home dashboard always has great recommended topics and new information readily available to explore
  • The HR Hotline turnaround time is excellent in addressing questions and providing thorough answers

Cons

  • The log in page is a little busy considering there are multiple areas to input information. I've gotten used to it but it took a little time to figure out which log in I should be using
  • The search function generates a lot of results ranging across many different topics. If it could be refined even more than just jurisdiction that would be helpful
  • I think it may be helpful to have the "Getting Started" section under the account tab show a short tutorial of how to navigate the system (for all of the audio/visual learners out there)
  • Before Brightmine, our Comliance team would spend countless hours manually researching topics, now we are able to go to one place to find all of the curated info we need
  • The HR Hotline is really helpful to double check with legal experts on certain issues we are facing
  • Having the legal timetable as a resource keeps us informed about any monumental changes that are coming up and how we can go about implementation
As I've mentioned in my previous answers, Brightmine has aided tremendously in our Compliance department. We use Brightmine as a fact-checker, guidance-giver, and all-around base for implementing change in our organization.
Brightmine has played a huge role in keeping us informed and up to date with compliance issues. The legal timetable is a wonderful resource, the forms and letters make formulating documents a breeze, I can't say enough good things about all the benefits it has to offer.
Brightmine was a resource provided by my employer, whereas SHRM I had to purchase on my own. I think they are both comparable to each other, but ever since Brightmine re-branded, I feel that the layout is much more inviting and user-friendly.

Brightmine has been very helpful when updating company policies. The templates that have been provided are generic and I'm able to reformat them to my liking.
