Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine
I use Brightmine for HR advice. I often refer to it for legal changes, updating policies or clauses for contracts. I particularly like the letter templates from the library which helps enable us to ensure that we are being as compliant as we can. I don't have access to the employment law part although that would be very useful. I like the analytics and the template training sessions which is super helpful when I have to share information with the managers within the business.
Pros
- Contract Templates
- How to guides
- Line Managers Training
- Updates on employment Law
Cons
- Navigation isn't easy, you need to know what to type in the search or wear its stored to be affective
- Topic boxes could be on the main page rather than the main bar to make it more user friendly and less clicks to get the the result I need
- Make how to in managers guides and training
- Saves money on Legal bills
- Saved time on administration
- Saved time on creating learning resources when they are available
It's helped us manage sickness better and making dismissals safer. It also allowed us to ensure our contractual terms and conditions are up to date with the latest information. The employment law updates and policy updates have allowed us to be ahead of the game when it comes to processes. for example the recent maternity changes have been really helpful.
Similar to previous question really, around the maternity chances, they helped us be more inclusive, realign our change policy in way to support maternity leavers. We've also ensured our adoption leave mimics our additional OMP which previously it didn't mirror it. We've also used it for settlement agreements which enabled change.
