Gong is a really great tool that you can tell was designed to provide valuable insights without requiring much work from users. You don't have to do a lot of heavy lifting, the user interface and user experience are overall great, very modern and pleasing to the eye. The usability is high. Could be some improvements still as AI models are of course never perfect - so I don't fully trust everything it says and still would recommend my teams to always read and double check interpretations of the language.

Seamless, easy to understand and get around without much research. Between the simplistic options and the fluid layout, I easily got in the tool on day one and found value. I did not need onboarding calls as an end user to easily take advantage of the platform. Which when you have 20+ accounts to manage, time is important.

I still need to check the whole meeting and write a summary myself when sharing the information internally. The automatic summaries are pretty accurate. The way they organize the information in blocks is pretty impressive (outline) but I still can't rely on the automatic summary only, as there are certain details that aren't captured. Eg. it would be great if we could train Gong on what are our main blockers: (is the engagement ok? Budget ok? questions on the contract?). So that it could add a summary of whether we can move forward or not or where are warning signs.

The call recording feature is great as well as the transcriptions, but the forecasting tool is not intuitive at all and really quite confusing. Big recommendation for the recording and for pipeline, but not for forecasting. But, love how it automatically connects and updates from salesforce. It also connects easily to Zoom.

Gong is extremely easy to use with a clear UX outlining where to find all necessary details. The additions of call summaries and key points, to the existing recording + transcripts now makes it so much easier to quickly get snapshots of what was said during meetings, something that is especially important when deals or accounts are changing hands. With Gong I can get the coles notes in a fraction of time.

Quick questions to the AI prompt results in clean answers. Making it as simple as being able to ask a question and wait for the answer. Really easy to interact with.
Users just need a log in and find the call. The pre built summary also has the bulk of the information you need. Makes life simple.

The core function is recording meetings and providing notes, etc. As the tool grows and functionalities are added, it becomes less of a meeting recording tool and more of a broader revenue enablement tool. We opted not to use Gong to forecast deals, for example. It depends on how your team chooses to use the tool, but there were a fair number of features outside of the core offering that we would rarely use.

Very simple to actually pull insights from the data, the transcriptions often don't need much manual fixing before presenting to the rest of the team. There is certainly work on installation, but the salesforce integration is solid and getting accounts for the whole org was seamless.

Not a perfect score as I believe the transcriptions could be slightly better, especially if we are speaking to users from non-English Speaking countries.

Whoever designed Gong knew what this tool needed to be and needs to provide their clients with. I haven't been in a full-time sales team in a while, and for me it was love at first sight, since I really enjoy training sessions, especially when the team is not afraid of making mistakes or being corrected by other team members. The synergy this tool fosters is something I would always use in these areas of work: Sales, Product, Customer Success, Customer Support.

Esy and simple to use outside of a few clunky moments with integrating to zoom/gcal or resetting the duration of recordings. Overall it's a really great tool that certainly empowers customer success and account managers to add of ton of value to the customer experience in a really simple way and makes the process more smooth and secure.

i use it so often to evaluate my performance, it saves time as well as I am not worried about taking pointers. I know if I did not listen to anything I can go and review it later. Both parties can be held accountable and this ethics compliance is a major issue sometimes
