Overall Satisfaction with Gong
We are using Gong to record calls across both Customer Success and Sales teams. We then use it to generate follow-up emails. We also share the calls between us internally to inform other teams about the content of the call. We also have Gong integrated with our CRM system which makes updating the pipeline of deals easier and quicker. Recently we have started using Gong Engage to effectively manage our renewals and spot where we need to engage more with customers.
Pros
- Their AI is excellent.
- The UI is great.
- Good integration with CRMs.
Cons
- Accommodate other currencies (not just $).
- Further functionality on sales reporting would be useful - such as being able to set individual KPIs.
- Time saved by not having to write lengthy emails.
- Better customer engagement as the summarised meeting points include action points, and nothing is ever forgotten.
As a CSM, I have found the follow-ups that Gong sends super helpful - when someone needs to hear back from me or when someone has returned from leave. Plus, the exclamation marks highlighting some risks are also super valuable in deal management, prompting some action from me.
This is something I don't think we have utilized or knew that is a possibility. Worth exploring.
