Most of the reports needed are already available, the few that I've needed custom were very easy to create. I've used other systems where it was very complex and frustrating.

It has accurate provided a clear view on how much vacation time a staff has left and has used.

This is very important in our company as we have different employees with different PTO policies, depending on their start date, type of employee, etc.

I would say it would be great to have a more clear view of the org chart.

BambooHR reporting has added more data insights to give a better overview of the company. For example, we have learned that our company has a 50/50 gender equality among employees, with a less proportionate distribution in leadership roles. This gives us insight into focusing more on hiring female leaders.

There are many, many times HR will get requests from our CEO or CFO for reports about wages, anniversary dates, or numerous other items. It takes seconds to create and pull the reports! AND the custom reports are saved so that you can rerun the reports in the future if ever needed! This really beats the hours of hand entry into Excel sheets that I used to do!

It made completing the EEO-1 reporting a breeze and a quick process! I was pleasantly surprised how, once we entered all the available information, it created the report that we needed, and it was accurate the first time! I was impressed beyond measure. Through the files, we can check to see which employees have completed forms and who we still need from. The reports feature is a game-changer!

The reporting function is also very user-friendly. They are being able to provide reports for the staff, executive team, and the human resource department. Staff should be able to see the sick, personal, and vacation hours they have used that they have left. For staff to see what training they have on file is excellent.

I don't have the ability to run custom reports that I want or need. Some things that seem very basic to me are not included on standard reports (like Journal Entries). They definitely need to add a more robust report builder, what they have is not sufficient.

I recently started using this function and benefited from it. I have easily been able to pull names/pronouns/and contact info to make attendance sheets. I can also pull their t-shirt sizes when we are doing orders. I can pull addresses for donation mailings. It is a beautiful function.

I am easily able to pull time cards for each of my employees. This is useful in my own reporting as I can clearly see clock in and clock out times and determine how long each agent was clocked in and should have been available to take calls from our customers.

Reporting is too basic to have an impact and requires a lot of manual work to make the numbers make any sort of impact. Custom reports don't allow for any calculations on the platform itself, and standard reports aren't always on what is most important. This is especially true in reporting on anything related to candidates. Time to hire is segmented and basic and doesn't give me any indication of the company average. I often have to use Excel.

BambooHR's reporting feature is really great. They provide many standard reports, but the best feature of all is the customizable reporting. I can pretty much create a report for anything I need using only the data fields I want and then can create a custom standard name for this report and use it over and over. If I don't need it anymore, I can get rid of it. I love that you can convert most reports to PDF or Excel.

happy with what I am able to pull up when I need it. I would like to be able to simply view some things that are not as easy to obtain, like calendar week hours and pay vs. pay period. I have been able to create my own reports for data with ease. I can access information quickly.

In this case, the reporting is one of the pain points, mainly the historical aspect; you should contact the payroll teams to get a more detailed view of this aspect because the reporting for the payroll team is crucial and, in my company, is not that good.

We are able to pull reports and manipulate them in any way that we need to. It is helpful that we have reports then that are saved and we don't have to try and recreate them as well as easily being able to send a report to a manager about their team.

Almost all of my work in the company focuses on employee and people analytics, so basically creating custom reports makes my job a lot easier. It has helped us build external dashboards to present it to managers and discover insights and new ways to make our company better. Reporting has been very efficient all the time I've been using BambooHR at the moment.
