I have been using Webexpenses for the last 3 years within my company to help record and track my business expenses on a monthly basis. It has proven to be very useful for this and my company makes great use of it. There are many options and variables that can be used to exactly specify the expense and categorize it accordingly. Each month my company will review the expenses submitted and pay it out, I receive a friendly notification via Webexpenses to tell me that my expenses have been paid.
  • Tracking company expenses.
  • Organization of expenses.
  • Dark mode would be nice.
Webexpenses does what it's meant to do, it makes tracking expresses across a medium to large company easy.

Lots of functionality and options. Give you fine grained control on logging expenses, tax, categories, upload functionality for invoices and you can assign it to certain members and teams.
The product is so good I have had no problem with it thus far and have not yet had to deal with support. In the last 3+ years of using Webexpenses I never had to result to using their support as the product was always available and usable and I observed no errors at all.
I use it to track all my company expenses easily online from anywhere. No need for actual paper based forms and stuff.
It tracks expenses perfectly.

Team managers - they manage the expenses of each team and they review it once the expnese has been submitted to ensure that all fields have been filled out correclty and things were kept in budget. Accounts Department - They review all submitted expenses and attached inovices and then pay out the expenses back to employees.

The cost for the product lisence should be reasonable and justifiable. If the product does it job and is reasonably priced and doesnt increase its licesne cost to much every year then its worth the purchase as it does the job and save time having to track expesnes manually in a non-central location.
We would consider all other options.

Yes, there was no real need for training. If so the people that had already used it would just give a new employee a 10min walkthrough and its easy enought to use without any proper training.

It works well as I have never had an issue using it on my mobile phone via their mobile application. I am able to everything I need via the mobile application. It offers all the functionality that the web application offers and helps me to use my phones camera to take pictures of the invoices so that I can attach it to the expense claim.

I use webexpence to keep track of my work expenses on a monthly basis. It allows me to keep better organized my milage and receipts from business related lunches and dinners. An added benefit is the software auto calculates the milage when you enter the address and can be manually override if you need to account for more miles. The software is also used to keep track of tolls and business office supplies.

Webexpense is well suited if you like to keep track in real time your milage and business expenses. In my case, I normally add the milage the day of and at the end of the month, I add the rest of my business expenses. The other expenses can be added same day though if desired. I don't think it is well suited in auto calculating your milage. The software requires you to use their calculator for milage, but if you make extra stops, then it is difficult to add them. To overcome this annoyance, I go through the steps to auto calculate my miles, then manually change them to the correct value.

For the most part, the software overall usability is easy. I am able to keep better track of my travel and milage. There are a few instances when it becomes cumbersome, such as when needing to calculate the correct milage for a particular travel and when navigating between expense windows.
Webexpenses does save time when it comes to keeping track of claims, milage and receipts. This was manually done in the past and now I can keep track of my milage and receipts electronically. It also saves time during the expense approval process, since it is just a few clicks to submit my report.
I did not purchase the software.
Previously expense reports were done manually, which was very time consuming and inefficient. We had to save all our receipts and at the end of the month, tape each receipt to a piece of paper. Afterwards we summarized our expenses on in excel, printed it out and turn in a stack of paper reports for verification and approval. With Webexpenses, I am able to record my milage and upload a photo of my receipts on the same day or even use my cellular phone to upload my receipts. At the end of the month, all the expenses are ready and submission is just a click away.

Most of the individuals who use Webexpenses are the business managers, who use the software on a fairly regular basis. The other individuals who use the software are usually in management positions, such as the Technical Marketing Managers and Technical Managers. This is due to the fact that normally the individuals in these positions are those who travel and have client-based interactions.

Since we are a small company, we have two individuals who do in-house support on an on-going basis. Webexpenses normally runs fairly smoothly without too many issues and therefore can be handled by just a few individuals. On top of that, the organization is also fairly small and therefore do not require a large IT support.

The software is very easy to use with a very short learning curve. For the most part, Webexpenses runs smoothly, and recent updates have fixed many of the bugs. There are still a few aspects of the software that can be improved for easability, but they are not major. Overall Webexpenses has made keeping up with expenses and submission very easy and quick.

We received from the employer an informal online training and powerpoint which taught us the basics. Afterwards we needed to learn the nuances of the product on our own. For the most part, the software was easy to figure out and straightforward. I would recommend this approach for individuals who are computer savvy.

The mobil interface works very well. I am able to record my expenses such as milage and upload photos of my receipts on my apple device in the moment, which is very useful. That being said, the actual application is buggy, sometimes it works properly and other times it does not, but this could be the software or my apple device.

It was difficult at first shifting from using excel sheet to Webexpenses as I need to scan all documents and upload to the system. As I progress, it is become user friendly for me and I can easily track my previous expenses using Webexpenses. Less error was observed based from my experience.

It may be difficult adjusting to the system but as you use it frequently, it is user friendly and you can track previous expenses. It can detect the amount and it can also detect if the previous receipt has been used. You can see the status of your reimbursements realtime.
