Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

It is being used across the whole business, for anybody who has a credit card or anyone who also uses a manager's card. Personally I use it for fuel expenses and I use it as a proxy for my manager for any purchases I make using his card.

Pros

  • Imports expenses from credit card use.
  • Informs you at each stage of action.
  • Has an app to use on the go.

Cons

  • The camera features could be better - for instance the app "Clearscanner" increases the brightness and contrast which makes the receipts look clear.
  • The interface on mobile is quite clunky, sometimes when fields are not filled it, it's not highlighted or explained well.
  • When a car is not setup, the fuel doesn't work properly but doesn't tell you the reason.
  • reduces workload on finance freeing them up for other tasks
  • quick turnaround of expenses meaning less interest on outstanding credit
Good for IT literate people but can be a little overwhelming for some users who are not used to it. Could really do with flowing a little more when adding an expense item.
pretty responsive but we've not had to use them very often.
Saves time for accounting department by automatically importing the credit card statements. This also speeds up our end so we don't have to pass invoices around to different people.

Very good for tracking expenses - I can't really think of any reason it wouldn't be appropriate for the modules we have.

Using Webexpenses

Managers and general staff. They range from finance dept to manufacturing
2 - Our main support for webexpenses is the finance team. They handle user requests, password resets and the daily running.
Otherwise the IT dept will support users where required, but this is rare.

Because it just works. There are some improvements to the user interface that I would suggest but overall it does what we need.
The linking of accounts is great to allow employees to add invoices against their bosses account if they are using their credit card.
Linking to the app is also very easy and seems very secure.
