Diligent One Platform - Holistic GRC Platform
- Enterprise Risk Management
- Compliance & Ethics-Digitalized board materials
- IT Compliance
- Diligent One Platform need to work on policy management
- Work Flow functionality is also missing
- Enhance business compliance by maintaining records and documents for all our processes and reports, which allows us to not worry about training new people in case resources are transferred.
- We integrated risk assessment tools and business continuity plans, which allowed proactive identification and mitigation of potential business risks.
- It helped to secure communication channels with confidential discussions and document sharing among team members and leadership.
- Training required for team members to effectively use the platform.
- Some customization options are limited and require further investments to enable.
- Integration with other ERP software and audit tools.
One Stop Shop for GRC Needs
- built-in functions are relevant and effective
- The new features keep coming and are amazing, like the ACL Robotics (automation functions)
- The ACL community and support provide literally thousands of scripts and other helps.
- too many clicks in Projects to get on the right page.
- In Results: when you want to apply a filter you need to click twice, not user friendly.
- it could be very useful to add computed field in Results rather than using a Robots for that. It could help clients to create better reporting without having ACL for Windows skills!
- Define and track controls
- Strong security
- Integrates with Python and other languages
- Can handle large volume of data
- Pricing
- Interface is clunky to use and setup initially.
- Limited features out of the box
- Product support is lacking
AI powered Data governance solution
- Detailed insights
- Easy reports
- Slow Consoles
- Better UI
Experience with Diligent HighBond
- Clean interface that is user friendly
- Assists in documenting controls and tracking performance
- Analytical tools available to support compliance
- Tracking request submission to a specific month can get tricky.
- Sometimes takes a little extra effort to match an email request to the correct request in the interface
- Continue to promote your academy and upcoming learning opportunities
Flawed, complicated product
- GRC Review
- Python integration
- Process flows
- Overly complicated ACL coding
- Bugs and quirks
- Often runs slowly
HighBond sets a high bar, but has room for improvement
- HighBond is great for managing requests, to do’s, and review notes
- HighBond is generally flexible with the configuration and terminology you can use.
- HighBond is a good tool for centralizing risks, controls, test plans, and procedures in a framework that allows you to standardize its usage.
- There’s a bit of a learning curve for reports
- Report structure is limited and so it forces you to pay for ‘impact reports’ instead of allowing customers to have more freedom in report design
- The dashboard lists every step in your business process (or area) instead of showing progress by phase. For example, if you want to know where you stand in a business process, it counts every step within the control (for ex. walkthrough, test plan, interim, final). So a process that has 10 controls will show you how many steps out of 40 are completed ( 10 x 4) which is not helpful.
- Analytics/robotics is not set up by default and you have to have them set up hosting for it (even if you already paid for the package).
- You cannot have customized dashboards automatically updated somewhere. You have to go into the reports module and double-click the report to run it.
- The storyboard feature is very limited and isn’t linked to the reports module as mentioned above.
- Simplicity and ease of use
- Extremely smooth set up
- Excellent performance and minimal technical issues
- The report writing feature is very powerful
- The current setup does not have a risk management option.
- There is not an easy way to catalog all audits and then cycle through them.
- The set up of tabs within a project can be a bit cumbersome and excessive.

An Easy and Efficient Take on Analytics and Business Intelligence
- We can process thousands (even millions, I think) units of data without crashing.
- Scripting language in HighBond is easier compared to other programming languages.
- It can process large data analytics in seconds or minutes.
- It can be used to execute other programs by using scripts.
- Improvement/more details on error prompts could be helpful, since most of the time errors within the tool are vague, and we always need to go to support to be able to understand what's going wrong.
- It should include in the training manuals the information about reserve words that aren't allowed to be used as table or column names.
