An Easy and Efficient Take on Analytics and Business Intelligence
Overall Satisfaction with HighBond by Galvanize
We use HighBond by Galvanize in doing the tedious analytics part of our audit works. We use it in our department in our engagements throughout the company. HighBond (formerly ACL) aids us in automating data analysis. It made us more efficient in executing our work, and helped us run more audit works in a year to year basis. Before, some of our analytics works would consume us weeks/days to finish. But with HighBond we are able to finish analytics with just a click and a few minutes, then we are done.
Pros
- We can process thousands (even millions, I think) units of data without crashing.
- Scripting language in HighBond is easier compared to other programming languages.
- It can process large data analytics in seconds or minutes.
- It can be used to execute other programs by using scripts.
Cons
- Improvement/more details on error prompts could be helpful, since most of the time errors within the tool are vague, and we always need to go to support to be able to understand what's going wrong.
- It should include in the training manuals the information about reserve words that aren't allowed to be used as table or column names.
- Our engagements are done in a more efficient way. From days/weeks to just minutes.
- High frequency of engagements.
- High productivity for our department.
Before HighBond by Galvanize, we mainly used Microsoft products in doing analytics and business intelligence works. Most of the time these tools struggle, especially when handling very large data. These tools could even crash and trash your work. With HighBond by Galvanize, we never had such problems, and HighBond can be integrated into almost all other tools, be it online or offline.
