Overall Satisfaction with ON24

We conduct our online trainings and webinars on the ON24 platform. ON24 meets our needs for registration reports, attendance reports, and CPE compliance reports. We are able to upload the needed slides and resources into the platform as well. There is an efficient way for administrators to access the creation piece of the sessions and a unique way for trainers to access the platform.

Pros

  • ON24 does a great job of tracking user engagement.
  • ON24 has a very easy process in setting up events and sessions.
  • ON24 is user friendly for attendees.

Cons

  • ON24 sometimes does not work well with some of our clients firewall and VPN if they are attempting to join from their office.
  • ON24 can sometimes freeze and our trainers are unable to resolve the issue and are forced to reschedule the session or move to another platform available.
  • ON24 does not track the correct data for our number of registrants for forums events. So, the analytics component is not valuable to us.
  • This is really not in my expertise to answer this question. My role is on the education side of the business. My team specifically owns the administration of our sessions in ON24.
We utilize the engagement data as a way to provide evidence that our attendees are actively engaged in the sessions for CPE compliance purposes. Sometimes an attendee is unable to answer a polling question, so the engagement data captured is very helpful for our team to work around the unanswered polling question and still reward CPE credit.
ON24 has changed the user and trainer experience. The customization features offered in the console is unmatched. It really allows for the virtual space to feel professional and high quality. ON24 continues to innovate and offer even more features and capabilities each quarter which is really exciting for our team.
Our team feels that almost all needs are met in ON24. The one piece that significantly stands out to us is that the data analytics component is not very valuable to us due to the registration counts from our Learning Management System not being able to communicate accurately with ON24's registration reports.
ON24 provides way more opportunities for customization of the virtual spaces. ON24 has an efficient process for uploading resources and making them accessible to the attendees. ON24 has more protection measures to ensure only registered clients can attend the sessions. ON24 minimizes technical issues for the trainers and attendees. ON24 captures more engagement data and simplifies the process for our team to award CPE certificates.

Prior to working at my current employer, I used other platforms such as Webex and Zoom. ON24 is significantly more user friendly and allows a lot more customization for events. It also has less bugs or technical issues. I would highly recommend that any adult learning spaces be conducted in ON24 over its competitors to guarantee a better client experience.
