Overall Satisfaction with Iterable

My organization uses Iterable for all automated and blast email sends. Its houses all of our internal marketable contacts. We run emails for 20 different websites in Iterable where we are nurturing leads from prospect to sale.

Pros

  • Journeys - Automations are very customizable and easy to setup
  • Experiments - These have improved greatly over the years.
  • Ingestion of custom events and profile fields

Cons

  • Messaging insights
  • Reports
  • ISP specific reporting
  • Take away from dev hours needed previously to build automated email campaigns
Experiments allows me test things on a campaign level easily for blast campaigns however the automated tests are not as robust
Iterable doesnt house one view of the customer for our business so this is not useful for us.

Do you think Iterable delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Iterable's feature set?

Yes

Did Iterable live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of Iterable go as expected?

No

Would you buy Iterable again?

No

Its well suited if you are sending more blast campaigns than automations. This is because personalization methods are scant compared to other ESPs. With other ESPs website traffic data comes out of the box but with Iterable it is another costly integration to be setup.

So it is perfect if you do not have a lot of personalization data feeds that need to be made
