There are some features that could be improved in terms of usability, such as embedding all tests natively instead of linking out (e.g. tree test), highlight reels, managing audiences and more inbuilt analysis features.

Overall, it's pretty easy to use and fairly efficient (and I'm a UX professional, so my standards are high!) In general, you can jump into the application and get value from it without training.

It is very easy to use, client-friendly, and easy for testers to navigate and use. I have never gotten lost doing a test on UserTesting, and the instructions are simple. The design is clear and uncluttered.

I would like to find panelists more easily and see in real time how many are aligned with our needs and filtering/keywords, etc. I chose French at some point, and now I would like to come back to English for the interface language, but I'm not able to.

Initially, I found the platform daunting, having never used a comparable site. However, I attended a series of workshops hosted by the UserTesting team, and thanks to their expert approach, I picked it up very quickly—so much so that I can now confidently teach my colleagues how to use the platform effectively.

I don't know if it's because of the way that the tasks/questions are inputted on the back end, especially with the different types of questions (verbal, multiple choice, scale, etc), I only found out after I've launched a test an error with my test plan even after I've gone through multiple rounds of review before launching. My eyes don't seem to catch errors well on the back-end even despite me working off a Google document of the test plan.

It's overall a very self explanatory, easy to use platform. But as they've added new features, I think it's become a little less easy to use. The right hand bar has become a little cluttered with things I never use, and it makes the scrolling and dragging and dropping a little difficult. I've also had issues with tasks not saving after I've entered them, and in some cases needed to reenter the entire test plan.

It can be a bit cumbersome to add/edit some of the test questions, nothing too egregious but when you're creating lengthy tests it can be difficult to keep track of all the questions. The ability to break the test into sections with dividers might help, just for building the test, not for the actual testing with users.

I think you could improve the usability. The drag-and-drop feature to add a new task or question is not efficient, especially on the screen to build the research. I prefer a simpler way, something similar to how the formulary tools do: try to see Google Forms and others as a reference.

Really easy to use! So easy to set up tests, choose and refine audiences and launch tests. Test question prompts are also fantastic. The dashboard is extremely easy to navigate too, seeing all available credits and usage is extremely useful. I also think the way data is presented after tests as results is very easy to digest.

Overall, it's good, but there is room for improvement. I've already mentioned it, but it would be helpful for me as a researcher to have access to IT Administrators using the tool. Also, it would be helpful to have more advanced survey capabilities.

Overall, the tool is very user-friendly and straightforward. I encountered no features or functions that were difficult to navigate. Even when facing issues with sessions, the support team responded quickly, resolving them within minutes. As a designer, I appreciate the aesthetic and user experience of the tool.

It's quite straightforward how to use the platform. It can take a couple of times to get how to set up a test and you will need to play around to find a good audience (with that I'd say it's safer to go for a broader audience if possible). But in general, I never had a problem with the usability of the platform itself.

It’s easy to understand for any new user. There are helpers everywhere (tooltips etc.) and the onboarding experience was good. The FAQs are great and answer any questions people might have. Our team finds the experience easy and pleasant and we rarely have any issues. We did find the toggle for the Confidentiality Agreement a bit hidden.

Overall, it's very intuitive to use the platform. However, there is room for improvement when it comes to setting up a test plan. However, when the test plan gets really long, the text boxes all blend into each other, making it difficult to distinguish the question/response types. I suggest visually differentiating question/response types (verbal, written, ranking, etc.) through different colours and/or shapes.
