Workday Human Capital Management is built as a cloud-based system with global consistency in user experience. Workday HCM is part of a broader system with other Workday products.
Paylocity is by far more user-friendly for our staff as well as easier for our administrators to move between modules and applications. I wish I did have the option to "impersonate users" in Paylocity like I can in Bswift.
Workday is a much more advanced and built out product, in my opinion. However, it is also very expensive and can require an internal support team to administrate the system. It is not always best suited to smaller companies, and wouldn't make sense for our company at this time …
Workday's costs are too great for a small company like ours, and small companies may not have the IT resources it takes to configure Workday. However, in terms of functionality and data that you can pull from Workday versus Paylocity, Workday is a superior product. Paylocity …
ADP - HR Powersource and ProBusiness and report writer - doesn't compare to the report writing capabilities. Paylocity does have more functionality with payroll processing which I appreciate and the systems are connected which is helpful as well. SAP SuccessFactors - the …
The all in one system (not add-ons like ADP), integration capabilities (IF they can ever get them working), and the control over my data (TriNet held all control).
Those are ones that were used at other organizations that I have worked with. Paylocity HR & Payroll had recently been added to my current organization when I joined.
Paylocity is more robust. It has everything in one site. Other sites we have used in the past there always seems to be something we need to use another site for, usually this is payroll that we have to have on another service. But paylocity has the payroll function and makes it …
Workday is too complicated to set up and is easily implemented with errors that won't be found until used. UKG is an old platform and can be very clunky to use as an administrator. ADP has limited functionality for benefits.
Paylocity is easily the worst one. It's clunky and the modules do not talk to each other well. It requires a lot of manual work, the user interface is horrible, and the system is glitchy.
Workday is a generally more comprehensive workhorse, but that's not to say Paylocity doesn't stack up. There is similar functionality and features across the board.
I find that Paylocity is more user friendly than Workday and Workday is more user friendly than Kronos. Paylocity, Bamboo HR and Workday all offer similar platforms and for many users, it may just come down to cost and intuitiveness. Integration may also be a factor. I've …
UKG can have some security issues with new user profiles on personal experience and its harder to adapt for elderly users. We had many situations where support was slow to respond to our tickets as the platform glitched or failed sometimes, unlike Workday HCM where all users …
