As we use Classroom Manager exclusively for internal purposes, I can only say something about this area. I would definitely recommend it, it's a great tool. Whenever we use it, we feel that people really thought about the way they have designed the software and the functions they have added. The main reason why we decided on this tool was because of its extensive functions. We currently only use like 10% of what it could do (subjective estimation), but we love that whatever learning challenge arises, the Classroom Manager can handle it.

The automatic generation of certificates after an employee has successfully completed their mandatory training. The software supports a variety of learning media (we work a lot with PDF and video). A great analytic & insight tool that helps us to understand more about the learning behavior of our employees Read full review Cons Reporting could be better- ability to automate report to update on dashboard, ability to ask "give me top 3 courses" rather than have to define each course Ability for managers to view indirect reports and assign them courses- it looks as if the functionality is there but it's not. Initial training- it's really more of overview; lead users to Absorb Academy- much more useful. Read full review Intelligent Media Systems AG
The tool has a ton of functions, which makes the navigation in the backend sometimes a [little] tricky. Nothing to add :-) Read full review Likelihood to Renew We have no plans to move away from Absorb at this time. It has all of the functionality we are looking for in a learning management system and we have a lot of info stored in our LMS system for trainings including all of our current and past employee transcripts. It is also getting easier to manager with being able to connect the LMS to ADP to update employee reporting/department/location/etc. We don't have a need or reason to move away from Absorb at this time.

Support Rating Because our two CSMs that we have had (Olivia and Olga) are absolutely fantastic on answering all of our questions in a timely and professional manner. I also appreciate them taking the time to meet with me monthly to check in on new features Absorb is coming out with and any support needs we have. It is seriously the best part about working with Absorb.

Alternatives Considered Our organization previously used
LMS365 , which did not support eCommerce and had difficulties supporting external users. (My understanding is the issues with external users may have been directly related to our Microsoft implementation and not directly
LMS365 's fault, but it was nonetheless a deal breaker for us.) Docebo was the runner up in our LMS selection process and I spent significant time chatting with the team at Docebo. It seemed like a strong competitor to Aborb. Ultimately, Absorb was both slightly more cost-efficient for our scenario.

The process of choosing an LMS took several months and involved many different people and wide rating criteria. What convinced us and made us choose Classroom Manager was the feeling we got every time we used the software or interacted with the company. They know exactly what they are doing, they were always there to support us and as already mentioned: when using the software and browsing through the functions, you just feel that this was created by experts that know their stuff.
Read full review Return on Investment We use the LMS as first-level client training; it gets clients' feet wet before they take a live training course. Clients appreciate that we can give them admin access so that they can be in control of their users' learning paths. We have used the LMS for our recent internal product certification and have been able to track completions and scores of employees to get a better feel for internal product knowledge and award prizes, making it fun for the participants. Since we have created the certification program, each new hire is enrolled in the program. This has been great for onboarding new hires. Read full review Intelligent Media Systems AG
It saves a significant amount of time and money to have everything in one central place. In our industry having skilled people with the right knowledge is a MUST to stay ahead of the competition. With the analytic & insight tool, we can track the learning process of our employees at a glance. One of the, if not THE most important point: Employee satisfaction. We have a dedicated area where we provide a wide range of free courses, covering a variety of topics. It started as a test to see if anyone is even interested but quickly became a fundamental part of our company branding strategy. Read full review ScreenShots Classroom Manager Screenshots
