Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace

All our video meetings happen using Zoom - all-hands, dept syncs, 1 on 1s - as well as external meetings that our sales team drives to help close customers. We do product demos, share Google Sheet presentations, and we usually have some of our board members on Zoom during board meetings. We are 100% remote team so it's very important to our organization.

Pros

  • Excellent technology for video meetings
  • Backgrounds are good looking and fun
  • Screen sharing is easy and we rarely have issues

Cons

  • Stop making me install updates to Zoom right before a meeting - makes me late to a call
  • Improved collaboration for a remote company
  • Makes it easy to jump on a video call when necessary
  • video is the closest you can get to face-to-face in remote/global workforces so it keeps us in touch with one another.

Zoom is perfect for video meetings of any type. Easy to use, easy for others to use. I would recommend it if that is the main and most important use case you have. Fully remote organizations can easily use it for all their virtual get togethers. If you need more than a video meetings, Zoom doesn't yet have the call center, sales recaps, etc. that other platform products like Dialpad has. But their video meetings are top.
