Overall Satisfaction with Jotform

We are new to Jotform and so far are using it to create and manage our online student enrolment forms. We were after a solution where parents could provide information about themselves and their child while being able to provide their signature. Other solutions such as DocuSign didn't fit our needs. Jotform has exceeded our expectations as we use the Google Calendar and Google Sheets integrations to automate data transfer. It embeds really well onto our website.

Pros

  • Embeds well onto websites
  • Well designed and stylish
  • Solid integrations across other well known platforms

Cons

  • The Google Sheets integration isn't that flexible. It just dumps the data. Would be good to be able to specify where.
  • Similarly, the Google Drive integration isn't too customisable. I can't dump the submission PDF's into a specific folder etc.
  • The Google Calendar integration is ok but would be great to be able to create reminders instead of events
  • Positive customer experience post-conversion
  • Creates a more professional feel
  • Easier to collect and extract customer/lead information
DocuSign is more well known for signing legal documents across large enterprise but it was difficult to setup and get started on. Compared to DocuSign, Jotform was much easier to build, design and create our first form which we were able to embed on our website straight away. The integrations were able to connect instantly.

Jotform is really well suited for marketing and customer/lead data collection. It differs from other document extraction platforms such as DocuSign which is much more formal. It is more well suited for small-medium sized businesses that require a combination of information collection and customer acknowledgement/contracts agreements, especially where data flow and integrations are important.

    Hi, Thanks for your review. It's great to know that our platform provides a seamless solution for managing online student enrollment forms and that it meets your specific needs, especially with features like signature capability, integrations with other platforms, and embedding forms on your website. In the Google Sheets integration, submission data can be forwarded to a new spreadsheet. It is also possible to select an existing spreadsheet from your Google Sheets, where a new worksheet will be created to store your form data. Regarding your feedback on the Google Drive integration, currently, it isn't possible to select a specific folder from your Google Drive where the PDF copy of the submissions will be forwarded. As a workaround, you can use Power Automate.
