Overall Satisfaction with Insperity Workforce Optimization
Insperity Workforce Optimization was being used for all HR functions upon my arrival to the company, including but not limited to: payroll onboarding, I-9 process, employee handbook signing, benefits including medical, dental, STD and LTD, time and attendance and HR record keeping. Prior to my assignment as an HR Consultant (Generalist) for this small company client, they were utilizing Insperity and Insperity's specialists for all of their administrative HR needs.
- Payroll Administration
- Cost of overall product
- Cost of benefits (medical, dental, LTD, STD, other)
- Sales process
- Small business HR Support (State law administration and knowledge, etc)
- Payroll
- Benefits
- State Law administration
- For the cost, Insperity no longer made sense for the organization. We ended up going with a smaller but highly reputable PEO that gave us a better product and service for less cost.
I inherited Insperity Workforce Optimization when I came in as a consultant to the firm. One of the reasons I was brought in was to see if Insperity was an appropriate product for a growing firm, as they had signed up for it when the company was only 4 individuals, based on a recommendation from a former non-HR colleague. We switched to Justworks within 4 months of my arrival, as they had a lower cost product, were able to offer a better overall benefits package for the firm, and their specialists were better trained/ more knowledgeable. Insperity did try to win back our business, but did so by insulting the product we ultimately went with and attempting to sell using "scare" tactics. From my experiences, I wouldn't want to fault all of Insperity for one (very experienced, mature) sales rep's method's, but the conversation did leave me with an unfavorable impression of the overall Insperity company and I now shy away from recommending Insperity to my other clients.
