Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

The organization utilizes the Dropbox platform as a data repository platform. All our documents are saved on Dropbox. We also utilize the additional function of Dropbox sign, which makes it easier for us to track the progress of document signage.

Pros

  • Creation of Dropbox folders.
  • Document access control.
  • Online and offline document syncing abilities.
  • Online dropbox file search.

Cons

  • Housing one document into multiple folders.
  • Dropbox Sign multiple accounts packages.
  • Better functionality when integrated with MS Teams.
  • Better user experience when used on smartphones.
  • File updates.
  • Access control.
  • Easy to install.
  • Offline accessibility.
  • Offline edits.
Unlike Google Drive, we have not experienced any system failures or being down. When one sector of Google is down, this affects the entire work suite.

Do you think Dropbox delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Dropbox's feature set?

Yes

Did Dropbox live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Dropbox go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Dropbox again?

Yes

Dropbox is suitable for data saving and protection. However, it is less suitable for saving contracts, specifically when there are consultant contracts. It's cumbersome to save/duplicate contracts in different organizational hubs. It would be better if one document could be saved in one folder and housed under many different hub folders.
