Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Dropbox to have shared access to any file from the organization. I personally use it to upload any flyers, videos, or photos I make/take as well as looking at previous years of event flyers and information. It's helpful to have access to it all in one place.

Pros and Cons

Pros

seems to be no cap on amount of data stored
can create lots of different sections with folders
can upload lots of different file types

Cons

finding things can be hard when looking for something specific if it's not organized
can be cumbersome to categorize each file for where you want it to go

Alternatives Considered

Google Drive

Dropbox was already in use at my organization, so that's really the only reason that I use it now. I am still trying to get more familiar with it, but growing up in a google world makes it a little more difficult to try and get used to yet another platform.

The only reason for the low rating is that I am much more familiar with google drive. I feel like it's basically the same as Dropbox and is accessible to anyone with a google account, whereas you need a separate Dropbox account to be added to a shared 'drive' per say.
