Streamline your grant application process!
I would look at the fee schedule and what is included at different levels. Submittable has added features since we joined which is great but not all are included at our subscription level and we can't afford to pay more. It is discouraging to hear all the cool new things and then at the end of the presentation, be told it would require an upgrade to access them.

Submittable is your communication savior!
The pricing was perfect for us, initially it came in out of our budget but the Submittable team was able to work with our budget and make this opportunity happen. I had to sit down with our COO at the time and convince him that this was the only option vs. Google Forms since our team didn't have capacity to sift through 10,000 Google Forms!

Submittable makes grant management easy!
I wouldn't change it, because we really went in deep with selection and evaluation prior to choosing Submittable. We wanted to be sure that we were getting exactly what we needed and getting the very best price for it, so we did a lot of legwork and research, then we did alot of engagement with our Submittable reps prior to purchasing the platform. We engaged our executive level team in the process, as well as everyone on the team who would have any level of exposure to Submittable, and got feedback on it from all of them.

Submittable: The Platform That Plays By Your Rules
I personally wasn't at the organization when we made the switch from paper to digital. But I have a strong feeling that Submittable would have been the winner - it is the platform used most within our industry and if our submitters are having an easy time getting their submissions to us, then we are having an easy time processing them.

We bought it for grantmaking, but use it for everything!
Focus less on integrations. We thought integrating with our CRM would be the most critical piece, but it's really not. That's easy enough to do after a cycle with an upload.
