We use GoDaddy to register all of our domains and we use it for webhosting, office365, emails and DNS hosting. We do it to help people save the most money because GoDaddy is the best. We have many domains we hold for people and we register their email addresses with their domains.

GoDaddy is safe and secure. They are reputable. They won't get scammed. Their pricing is very competitive. Their marketing emails can be a little too much at times. But they are the number one player in the web space. They make it easy to have a domain and register emails with that domain all under one roof.

Non profit organizations, real estate offices, Contractors. They represent all different business organizations that provide services to many different industries. Their website is very important so people can find out more information about them. We help these organizations get their websites out there to the real world and on to Google Maps.

GoDaddy is the number one player in town. They have the most competitive and best pricing on everything from domain name registration to hosting packages that are very affordable. But of course due to inflation and everything going up in price today GoDaddy has raised their rates but nothing ever comes back down.
Yes
HomeStead. We replaced them because, in our opinion, they are absolutely horrible with no customer support at all. Not only that but their servers were not even in the United States. We did not feel safe or trustworthy being with them and we had to make a move. In our experience, there was nobody there to help at any given time.
  • Scalability
  • Ease of Use
Very easy to use and makes it easy to register domains and keep up with all the available domains. They make it easy to auto renew our sites and packages and they are very safe. They keep everything organized in one platform and they are always there to help if we ever needed help or support from them.
The only way I would change the selection process and evaluate different things if something bigger came along and was much cheaper then GoDaddy. They would have to be much cheaper if they get to a point where it becomes unaffordable then we would evaluate and shop around. That's all.

The time when we had to transfer a domain over and the other side would not give us the authorization codes so, in our experience, GoDaddy went to their doors and demanded they give us the codes.

Their customer service is easily reachable. Someone is always available to help you at any given time 24 hours a day. They are simply the best in the whole wide world. They have the best engineers and support team. Whatever I need they are there to help and assist along the way every time.

Come Daddy

The whole organization is dependent on GoDaddy hosting - not everyone accesses the admin panel, but we need it to be functional, so we can work on the WordPress sites, the backbone of our organization.
The cost-value ratio of GoDaddy seemed to be the best at the time we chose it and it still is a strong competitor. We need hosting, so it's a must.
  • Cost is very favorable.
  • Easy to use.
  • A lot of undefined (HTML 500) errors occur.
  • Some intermediate level WordPress plugins can wreck an entire site.
  • Lately, entire sites crash and are partially responsive - making work impossible.
If asked by a colleague whether I would recommend GoDaddy, I would probably ask them if they had a better recommendation. It works and is very good when you want to start out - they are big, they are easy to access, and it is generally a good idea to start out with GoDaddy, but at the moment, we could probably use a more personalized approach, that fits individual needs of a company.
Also, SO UNRELIABLE.
  • Hosting.
  • Down times can hurt business - we must be available when traffic hits.
  • Errors hinder work, and we end up paying for more hours of wages than actual work.
  • Currently we are experiencing days of delay. Hundreds of dollars lost.
We are only now shopping around for an alternative, and have considered a local provider most seriously, but so far, no move is planned. GoDaddy is good enough as-is - we will see if we choose to step away from it, in favor of better support, less errors and more up time.
So far, no success.

Only the CEO uses it directly, when he sets up a site for us, but we all suffer the ill effects of the capacity problems their servers endure most of the time. It was horrrrrrible last year, and we thought it's because everyone went home office, but now it seems it's just springtime for them.
None, we don't really do that, but do hire freelancers to twist some wires together, make things work, when nothing helps, we accept that for this cost this is what we get, and probably nothing would be as good in the long term, for the same ratio of cost-value, but one can dream, right?
  • Host a lot of sites for us
  • We use a blog engine as a visual interface
  • None sadly, we're just using it as intended, but we do have a lot of traffic.
We can't really choose anyone else and the cost/effort of moving all of the hosted data would be extremely large, and we just have to stick to them, and hope they improve service.
