Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

Most of our clients prefers online meetings over physical meetings thus we choose Webex Meeting to fulfill our online collaboration needs. Our journey with Webex Meetings started with internal team meeting at first and later we adopted Webex Meetings to communicate with our remote operations teams and weekly discussion meetings with our clients.

Pros

  • The synchronizations between the web and android applications are pretty smooth.
  • The desktop application is bit heavy and takes a lot of resources but works quite well during video meetings and online collaborations.
  • There are a vast amount of features available that make the host control very easy and admin friendly. Feature like 'Mute All' & 'Request Unmute' seems quite useful to me while hosting larger meetings.
  • There is a option to choose skin tone in the emoji section which i found very unique!
  • During screen sharing, there is an option to mute the system audio, which I found unique and very useful.

Cons

  • Logging into Webex Meetings is a hassle sometimes. I faced difficulties like unexpected errors while trying to login from the android app.
  • Guest user shows as unverified in the meeting dashboard which is great for the security purpose but looks very odd. I think Webex Meetings can add some sort of symbol to point out the guest user which would make the meeting interface a lot better.
  • Sometimes invitations from the meeting through email doesn't work properly. I tried inviting non Webex user with their valid email from the meeting but they confirmed about not receiving any invitation email.
  • Online meetings saves a lot of time and resources of ours and it is the new normal thus I would say Webex Meetings has overall a positive impact over us.
Both are great and we are planning to try Microsoft Teams too!

We mostly use collaborations app to communicate with our clients and some of our operation team members who works remotely. If you have the same work scenario you can try Webex Meeting. The video meeting performance and host controls are satisfying.
