Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security
We use WatchGuard firewalls and security features every day at our company. We also sell and manage this brand on our customers. Of all the brands on the market, WatchGuard is always our first cyber security option to secure and protect all kind of networks. WatchGuard was an will be our best firewall to fight against cyber threats.
Pros
- Firewall management with WGSM.
- WatchGuard Cloud from anywhere.
- Simple and flexible add/remove features.
Cons
- WatchGuard can starting make switches with central management.
- Improve the WatchGuard Cloud, make it more "friendly".
- Show, in the traffic monitor, a popup with all the levels information like CheckPoint or similar.
- The VPNs are very easy to configure, less time to loose at new implementation.
- The traffic monitor can be improved, I can't see the ISO layers to do a faster diagnosis.
- Having an ADDS authentication is a plus, can use it with rules and vpn for remote access. Very useful.
- The dimension feature can be developed as a website + database for NGINX, Apache2, IIS, etc., I feel traped on that linux vm only.
- Most of the customers doesn't like to pay for a solution like this. They will accept only after beign attacked. WatchGuard can improve the sales with a demo (hacking, active security, etc.).
We work with Ajoomal, we purchase firewalls and features from them and implement them for our customers. Ajoomal helps us a lot with troubleshooting and new stuff.Ajoomal always been the best partner we have had.
If you're talking about the WatchGuard Cloud, I think it is a very good tool but needs to improve to be better and better.
I like to control and manage everything from one console, but I don't feel the WatchGuard Cloud is what I need right now.
I know in the future this will be an excellent tool. WatchGuard always meets our expectations.

I'm tired about having one brand for firewall, another brand for switches, another brand for access points, antivirus, protections, MFA, etc.....
