Overall Satisfaction with Tealium Customer Data Hub

We use it for some clients in Brazil, we have a client here from the airline industry and we help them sync the collection of data, all digital data and offline data, some of the offline data as well to standardize that and aggregate all this information, create personas, profiles, and then we use that to create some business cases around marketing CRM and for our personal information as well to control personal information and help our clients.

Pros

  • Activation in real time - it's really good and you can literally see the information being activated in all other technologies that my clients use, like TikTok, Facebook, Google, et cetera. At the time that a client arrives on your website, you have instant data to enrich the profiles and activate on this channel. So this is really good and it's something that Tealium give us the control in order to do that.
  • The other thing is that you have the power to choose what data you want to collect and what data you do not want to collect. Tealium is particularly very good on doing that.

Cons

  • We use a technology from Tealium called DataAccess and it would be nice to have more information around how we can use that to provide value for our customers.
  • IQ EventStream
  • AudienceStream
  • It's very attached to revenue because you end up making all of other technologies work better when you have Tealium. So you can make a difference directly on value, on revenue.
  • It also helps you around customer experience a lot because now you have control about who that person is and you know what this person wants and how they want it. So they directly impact revenue, but also the overall experience your client have with you.
As a partner, we don't have a support team in order to make the product better because we already have certified people to do that and it's the way we make money in Brazil. But we have a really good support on the business side with our account and staff, and we always got amazing people to work with us and help us like Ben, like Stephen and Drew to help us on the business side, especially on the business side.
For the clients that use Tealium, it's the first layer of collection. So to use Tealium the proper way, it's about Tealium being the first layer of collection. If it's digital data or offline data doesn't matter because Tealium has the capability of collecting storage and organize all that data. So it's pretty much the best tool to do that and in the more neutral way. That also impacts all the experiencse and the value we can provide with other technologies that our clients have.
All of these products they have the final usage of these technologies is all of the times around using Insider. For example, you have a CDP capability, but in order to activate to their own digital channels like WhatsApp or SMS or personalization on site, and you have other technologies that do the same and Tealium what makes different, it's all about the data. They are very neutral and it's the main difference between Tealium and the other technologies.

For more suited, I'll say highly regulated industry around data like healthcare, insurance, finance, where Tealium can be very helpful and for clients that don't have much different channels where they interact with their clients. So companies that only sell on internet and are a small company, I can see Tealium being the best usage for these clients, for these companies.
