Overall Satisfaction with Tealium Customer Data Hub

We utilize Tealium as our centralized data hub for tagging implementation, data distribution, and audience segmentation. This is used for our organization's various use cases, such as paid media, personalization, analytics, etc.

Pros

  • Tag Management.
  • Audience Management.
  • Data distribution to a large library of connectors/vendors.

Cons

  • Ease of use for more complex rules/segments.
  • Management of large amounts of load rules and functionality.
  • Data management/governance options within UI.
  • Flexibility and ability to customize setup using code.
  • Real time capabilities.
  • We're able to get new paid media vendors up and running quickly with little/no code.
They are responsive to questions and have been instrumental in getting some of our more complex requests up and running.
We have utilized the available CAPI integrations to help improve customer match. Visitor stitching and the ability to personalize based on various touchpoints have also helped with our marketing efforts.
Tealium has a more robust visitor profile than Target has, and we can pass in Tealium data into Target as opposed to the other way around.
