Overall Satisfaction with Skype
Skype has been used to communication with people who cannot be physically present. It's not been used much recently, as other software that has the same capabilities has taken over, but it was the first of it's kind. It's a good tool to use when someone cannot be there or when a meeting really needs to happen face-to-face.
- It's video chat capabilities are what it is known for, and are pretty good (depending on your internet connection).
- I've used it with people are are across the country and also out of the country and have been able to communication with them, so that's pretty fantastic.
- I think it's one of the standard, original video chat softwares out there.
- I think it needs to stay relevant, stay current. It's getting lost in all of the other newer video chat softwares and apps available now.
- Maybe connect it with another app, like google+, for instance, would help get it to be utilized more.
- It hasn't affected our business objectives much, as we've really moved away from Skype lately.
- Zoom
I think Zoom is more suited for a company, whereas Skype is more for personal use. Zoom has the meeting capabilities that are more geared toward company usage compared to Skype.
