Overall Satisfaction with Rafflecopter
We use Rafflecopter to host giveaways for select departments of our non-profit organization. Rafflecopter provides an easy to setup platform to quickly create a giveaway for lead generation. An example would be to giveaway a pair or running shoes.
- Easy to setup
- Provides a good variety of entry actions
- Has a simple end user interface
- Does not have an API. A knowledge base article saying they are considering one has was last updated 8 years ago.
- The list of integrated email service providers has not been updated in a very long time.
- Must login to download payment receipts--no emailed receipt.
- Refer a friend entry feature
- Multiple entry options on major social networks
- Entry by email list sign up
- Easy method of lead generation if you have the right prize
- Quick, easy setup that anyone can manage
- Woobox and ShortStack
Having used all three software platforms, I believe that both ShortStack and Woobox have surpassed Rafflecopter in terms of features set. It's been a few years since I've used Woobox and ShortStack so they may not be fully comparable any longer.

Evaluating Rafflecopter and Competitors
- Price
- Product Features
- Product Usability
At the time of purchase, the single most important factor was price.
The next time we are looking for giveaway software, we need one that can integrate with our other platforms. This could be through direct integrations created by the company or through Zapier.
Integrating Rafflecopter
- Mailchimp
It was easy but very basic. No ability for customization.
- Zapier
- HubSpot
I have asked support in the last year and they have said they do not have plans to support Zapier or HubSpot.
- Javascript widgets
