Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use PandaDoc to send legal documents that need e-signature to individuals, send secure documents with personal information, and will likely use the new Rooms feature in the future for onboarding. It is also used to send promissory notes. With the new features, we may expand the scope of what we will use PandaDoc for.

The automatic snapping of added fields in templates could be toggleable to more easily place fields where they need to be
When fields are duplicated, the generated Field IDs can get long (e.g. Text_1, Text_1_1, Text_1_1_1, etc)
Loading screens are sometimes long

Return on Investment

We have greatly increased the efficiency in which we can get signatures from individuals for documents and increase productivity.
We have been able to find older documents very easily.
W-9 have been very difficult due to Section 3, but this was addressed with conditional logic

Document Creation

I recently learned more about the content library as well as creating templates right in PandaDoc rather than importing a document from Word or elsewhere. The PandaDoc templates have a great design and are very easy to use. Sometimes, a document must be uploaded and not created right in PandaDoc. In these cases, it used to take time to create all the checkboxes and text boxes, but this was addressed by being able to select multiple fields and copy and paste them all at the same time.

Streamlining Communication

For real-time notifications, it has been helpful to know when an individual has viewed the document. It helps me know that the individual has, indeed, recieved the document and that the process is still moving. It can also help with future audits and seeing that someone did view at this time, but maybe didn't do anything.

Professional Quality

I enjoy the visual appearance of the templates created directly within PandaDoc. They are clean and consistent. I will start using this feature more often. For documents uploaded to PandaDoc from Word or PDF, the resolution can sometimes be a bit low and it can take time to really get the fields in the correct spot to make the document look its best, but it's possible!

PandaDoc is great for a team to send legal documents that need signatures. It is also a great platform that has many new features being added each quarter. If you find yourself doing certain tasks often, like sending batch documents, you may need to pay more, so looking around for the best deal is necessary. PandaDoc has a good user interface and good customer service.
