Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use multiple Miro boards for multiple purposes, like a bi-weekly calendar that can be shared and updated in real time with every user/department on our company and, why not, remote users. Another example is a "top 3 sellers" for the sales area, updated every hour. Before Miro, we used to have an old-fashioned whiteboard and some markers. Now everyone can see the board wherever they are.
Pros
- Real time experience
- Sharing
- Tablet support
Cons
- Auto-play gif
- Presentation mode for guest users
- Auto-update when a new version is available
- Saved money on markers
- It's faster to update a digital board than a physical one, so we can say it improves productivity
- Remote users no longer need to come to the office, so they save gas money while the company also save money, because the user is ready to work as soon as the presentation is finished. No back-to-home car trip needed
It makes it easier for remote users colaborate without having to come to the office. Zero traffic time means the user is ready to work after the project is finished. And because the board can be easily shared, users can update them anytime a new idea comes to their minds. We had situations were a Miro board was updated from an user waiting for his breakfast be ready inside of a donuts shop. Amazing!
Miro makes it easier to share and has better tools. We've tried Google Slides and Microsoft Whiteboard, but the availability of tools and different sharing settings gives Miro a superior advantage over them. In our setting, we leave Miro open on 3 TV's with a cheap computer behind each one and we can forget about it. No need to refresh the page every x hours/days.
