Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I am a full-time researcher, and I integrate Miro and Notion to work on my paper drafts and mapminds simultaneously. I use it to organize literature reviews and paper arguments through Mapminds. I also use it to collaborate with research teams in consultancy projects, allowing real-time collaboration between team members and facilitating the progress of the development of ideas and reports.

Pros

  • Integration with other apps.
  • Team facilitation.
  • Online real time Facilitation.
  • flexibility of work and workspace.

Cons

  • It could allow more flexibility to choose colors in post its. (color wheel).
  • Pick some functions as in Figma, vectorial design.
  • Integration with video call apps, such as zoom.
  • Reverse integration with notion.
  • Improved productivity.
  • More value produced per team member.
  • More efficiency in project delivery.
I integrate Miro with Notion, and it's great. I can have direct access to my Miro mindmaps while working on my datasets and literature bases in Notion. This allows me to understand what I'm working on. Also, the integrations with Google Calendar seem great, but I have not been able to make them work.
We have been able to create teams all over the globe, including teams in France, Peru, Mexico, the UK, and the US. It is excellent to keep everybody on board when the team has different time zones. Collaboration in real-time also expands to continuous working streams, considering the shifts of people worldwide.
Miro's UI is way more friendly and flexible than Mural. Mural flows less easily than Miro, and the facilitating tools in MIró are way better. Figma core is centered on vectorial artwork. On a smaller scale, Miro can capture some of that for diagrammatic works and nonspecialized users.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

It is a complete app I use almost every day and every time I have to start planning or doing a project. When working in a group, Miró is perfect for leading and collaborating with team members. Facilitation tools, such as timers, music, followers, etc., are great for overseeing the whole situation while everybody works. I would suggest additional functions such as remote assistance for participants, where they can see precisely what the facilitator is doing so they can replicate.
