Overall Satisfaction with Miro

As an experienced designer, I use Miro for brainstorming and flowcharts, but recently, I have switched to FigJam. I am using Miro for the illustration class I teach. My students post their work there, and this is where we view the work and sometimes brainstorm.

Pros

  • You were pioneers at this.
  • The canvas is big
  • Ease of use.

Cons

  • Everything turns out looking not good, for a designer it hurts the eyes.
  • No normal Hebrew fonts.
  • In my opinion the posts-its look horrible with various font sizes - the size should not be affected by the amount of text
  • You can only zoom in so far.
Well, it's not only the collaboration; it's the canvas combined with the collaboration—it is very helpful when working in a hybrid workplace. Sometimes, we work from home.
I use Miro because my students do not have a pro account on Figma - otherwise, I would have used Fig Jam.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

No

I don't like how things look (the outcome itself is just ugly, So even when the interface is nice and your ideas are excellent, it is hard for me to use it when it looks that way. The post-its are incredibly distracting because of the various sizes of fonts.
