Overall Satisfaction with Jotform

Use it to gather stories from freelance writers and contributing photographers.

Pros

  • provide prebuilt elements
  • provide widgets
  • provide options for distribution and promotion for universal participation

Cons

  • In my experience, occasionally get error message that's vague saying "Something went wrong" but it does not really go into the what part of that error message
  • In my experience, sometimes the page does not load although it can sometimes be resolved by refreshing the page or trying again to load the page.
  • I wish that the integration with Google sheets would include line hyperlinks to the files that are uploaded through our photo upload form. In my experience, it just gives the URL which would need to be pasted into a browser.

In my opinion, it takes a little too long to get support, but it is good when it comes. The chat button that pops up once in a while disappears whenever I try to use it as soon as I type into the question area.
It took a while to figure out what the best integration would be for gathering the photos. Even though the PDF that is attached to the email notification of a submission has the feel and look of a "contact" sheet with thumbnails, the file size of each photo does not appear on it when testing even when that is one of the chosen elements in setting up the layout of the PDF.
