Overall Satisfaction with Gong

Gong is used by us to record sales demos. We use it to analyze the calls. This helps reps and managers with ideas for coaching as well as to identify other areas of improvement. The features with being able to see how many questions are being asked, how much each person is talking, and other insights are helpful.

Pros

  • Gong has the best call transcription.
  • The AI is great at providing insights.
  • The notification feature to send an email when certain things are brought up is nice.

Cons

  • I'm not sure what I would recommend to be better.
  • I'm not sure of the ROI it has had.
It is pretty intuitive to use.
Gong was selected because it is the best of the best. I wasn't involved in the evaluation process. However, I know it is a top-tiered tool that sets the standard for any other tool like it.

It is really helpful for sales demo coaching. The tool is somewhat expensive, so, I feel it is best suited towards sales roles that drive a major amount of revenue. For larger teams, it is helpful to see what is going on across the team.
