Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

I've been using Dropbox for years, for video media storage and bulk downloading of large file sizes. While downloading large amount of media usually fails when downloading from a file sharing browswer, the Dropbox Desktop sync app is fail-proof and is something I can let do its thing without checking.

  • Downloading large files
  • Downloading many files
  • Storage

Cons

  • Bugs, such as the right click options dissapearing for no reason
  • Selective sync forgets what was selected and adds extra folders
  • It takes a long time to start when opening
  • Clients have had an easy time using it
  • It made for easy backup on finished projects

It is well suited for people or teams who have a lot of media to share and download large or vast amount of data.

It is not suited for people with less media to share, where something like Google Drive would suffice. It all depends on how you use it and what you are looking for.
