Overall Satisfaction with Cube

We use Cube for automated reporting from Quickbooks directly into our more complex financial models. It allows for quicker reporting on budgets vs. actuals and pulling detailed and consolidated financial statements for Board presentations, Investor Reports, and other ad hoc reports. While these features are useful it is not a very sophisticated products and lacks dashboards, analytics, and other features found in the products of competitors.

  • Software integration took much longer than expected.
Causal is a much more sophisticated product, but would require that we completely switch away from all of our current models and using google sheets. Cube allowed us to continue operating as is, but with a quicker data connection.

Cube would work for your organization if you aren't at the stage for Netsuite or something similar and went to get your standard reporting done. If your P&L is 300+ accounts and constantly changing - this product creates a lot of duplicative work because of all the dimension mapping.
