Overall Satisfaction with Absorb LMS
At NWA, we continued to grow the operations training team. The trainers were delivering the same materials over and over. By adding Absorb LMS, we could break the training topics into smaller components and deliver via the LMS vs classroom type training. In addition, we're a union environment. Frequently under performers will claim they were not trained on a topic or that the training was inadequate. With Absorb, we're able to easily share training as well as the data to support our position. We were also able to integrate our compliance training, making it easier for the HR team to manage, and also upload employee data straight from our payroll system. It's been great!
Pros

Cons
- Seeing where resources are attached to training isn't intuitive
- Should change the software name "Create" to something not frequently used elsewhere
- Setting up landing pages/dashboards--hard to see/understand the value
- Reduce trainer headcount expense
- Streamlined enrollment process for compliance training
- Increases learning opportunities across the company
- Improved timeliness in training delivery and learns ability to engage with training (retake training when needed)

Absorb Create is very easy to use. It is also easy to upload documents and have AI take over in providing recommendations. The narration tool has been fabulous in developing content more quickly.
We have a couple of third-party training resources. Our compliance training is mandatory and is now set up to automatically enroll new employees. Our other third-party training is voluntary and yet provides our employees the opportunity to develop skills should they elect to do so.
