Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is helpful for data storage and virtual machines helped to upon run the applications. Data analytics reports were generated based on log files of the application. The business problem is to migrate from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to AWS service platform, this was migration project.

My organization manages a lot of processes outsourced by our clients. We use a lot of Machine Learning based solutions and require cloud infrastructure to support it. Since volume of requests keep on changing dynamically, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure provides an economical and convenient way to scale up the operations to meet the increased demand. This is being used for backend operations of lot of processes. Historically Genpact used to maintain their own hardware in data centers which was expensive and maintenance cost was high. With this recent switch to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, the performance has improved and the costs have gone down. Further, we can now focus on our core work.

We use OCI for deploying our softwares. OCI is a great platform that helps in faster deployment, and faster application performance. It's also very secure platform. OCI is a comprehensive platform with robust support service, world wide reach, and has an option of distributed cloud that can be used wherever we need it.

Some members of my organization performed tests over Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The results were excellent in terms of performance and the number of available data centers / regions. In fact, response times were great, with less latency than Azure and response times were evidently shorter. We were looking for an alternative to the costful, slow and limited IaaS Azure offer.

Oracle Cloud is the backbone of our Enterprise Management Application, which we migrated from On-Premise Servers. Our Key considerations during the Research phase are Scalability, Dynamic Pricing, Easy lift, and shift (not many custom upgrades we needed, and Go Live required to be done as soon as possible without impacting Business), and Service Delivery. After comparing multiple vendors, we finalized Oracle Cloud Infrastructure as our go-to for migration. Its customization option, SLA Agreements, smooth interaction among other applications, and cost were the main factors for choosing.

We came to know about Oracle Cloud Service and we thought of shifting few service to their cloud platform as we have policy to not to keep all data and service in one cloud service. They said their cloud is lifetime free and we created 2 machines in one account. But somehow all our machines were down on one day and all our data was wiped. So we decided not to use it further.

I have been using Oracle Cloud since few years. It provides cost-effectiveness and flexibility in terms of computing resource sizing. While setting up the base infrastructure, it requires skill and solid core concept knowledge of Networking, Identity and Access Management (IAM). VMs sizing flexibility feature gives tough competition to other cloud providers in OKE and VMs. A shell script is needed for Taint and customised boot disk sizing of the node during the OKE node pool setup. From a DevOps perspective, it was challenging overall, improved competence and clarified the concept in cloud context.

We have a lot of information stored in a couple different data bases and cloud services. Oracle makes it very convenient and nice to have a central hub where we can find what we need. Our team loves using it because of how simple and easy it is. We highly recommend to any company dealing with a lot of information and or data.

We used Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for:
- VMs (mutliple configurations across varying CPU ranges)
- ARM based Oracle Databases

Majorly, we hosted 3 -Tier application on OCI which had Apache Web Servers, Tomcat Application Server and Oracle Databases.

Good CPU performance over databases was important reason to move towards OCI.

We use Oracle Cloud to deploy our apps in test phase before deploying to production. All out test servers are in Oracle Cloud and it is really great to deploy applications in real-time. We are really happy with this and is planning to use this infrastructure to deploy our production servers in the future.

It was reviewed within the scope of testing our application for a customer that would want to run on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, virtualizing our platform on it. This was the customer's choice, and our QA team then needed to validate installation and runtime support. This was an initial evaluation, with no prior experience.

We are in the middle of migration, and Oracle offers computing, which was a use case for us. Our on-premise servers were Oracle application servers, which helped us easily migrate to the platform. Using Oracle Infrastructure saved us time, money, and a lot of configuration time, and we were able to migrate the project in time without much hassle.

We use OCI as a means of Storage and also help with managing our MySQL databases. It allows us to run a number of containers depending on our database requirements. We also use the monitoring services for tracking performance and any alarms raised. It is useful for metrics and statistics, as well as using the mointoring service to log analyticsfor auditing purposes.

We use Oracle Cloud Infrastructure as a key component of our business continuity and disaster recovery infrastructure plan, and to host mission critical databases that require high availability. These resources are currently used within a single department but we would like to broaden the scope to encompass additional departments throughout the organization.
