(1-25 of 29)Best Suite for Small Scale Application
- Storage
- Virtual Machine
- Reporting
- Scalability
- Global Reach and Availability Zones
- Service Availability and Reliability
- Cost Management
An amazing Cloud Infrastructure management platform
- Worldwide reach. Can be used from anywhere across the globe
- Robust and fast deployment
- Very flexible, dynamic, and easy to use
- It's little expensive
- mostly suitable for large scale enterprise apps
- Requires specilized and highly personnels who can use this
- Better performance than other providers (AWS, Azure)
- Pricing structure is simple and predictable
- Offers SLAs covering performance
- User Interface is not very friendly
- Availability regions should be increased
- High learning curve for beginners
Think it is less appropiate for small retail/industry/mortgage companies.
- Scalability: During peak hours, you do not need to add additional servers, load balancers, etc., manually. Oracle does everything for you.
- Cost : It's amazing option of pay what you use really helped us.
- Interoperability: As we migrated from On-Premise, its interoperability helped reduce the time for go live.
- Marketplace : A better and enhanced marketplace for prebuilt/ custom application.
- UI/UX: There is not much to change, but if the team can check customer feedback on the Support portal, there are many options that will make it even more amazing.
- Cost: We love the dynamic pricing, but for a midsize firm, it's still a lot, so if plans can be drilled down further, that could be useful.
Didn't go as per expectations
- You can create multiple machines and they don't restrict you to 1 instance at a time during trial.
- Large range of operating system images are provided by them with customization
- Memory IOPS are better.
- They really needs to improve their User Interface
- Information on website is very confusing
- No proper listing of recently used service
- As of now services are very limited
Oracle
- Their Pricing is fair and very attainable
- Has tons of storage available for our usage
- Tons of integration services
- More cloud regions
- Minor performance issues
- Occasionally slow loading
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - Good Cloud Choice
- Good Performing VMs with high CPUs
- Databases can hold large number of connections concurrely
- Applications perform overall better for speed
- VMs are good but proper configuration as per application load has to be planned
- Databases are very good specially in case Oracle but more opensource integrations can add value
- Continuous Delivery automated pipeline will be great option
- love the oci console , its very simple to use than before.
- oci rewards system is pretty interesting.
- oci security much better than other OEM's.
- Though the navigation has been simplified a lot I believe it can be simplified more just like AWS.
- cost details analysis gets delayed sometimes. This needs to settle.
- More insights on offerings of different services provided in OCI
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Review
- Database Management is really easy
- It is good for large amount of data
- It has a good backup and failover policies
- Its Pricing is bit high
- Knowledge is required to work on it
It is less suited for small-sized data requirements as the cost to output is low.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Review

Cost effective cloud infrastructure platform!
- High-performance workload execution and management.
- Application load balancing and scale options.
- Flexible and low total cost of ownership.
- Documentation is sometimes not up to date and requires professional services to set things straight.
- Better cost management support - Continued automation in this area will be beneficial.
- Support an overhaul of issue submission and tracking - Operational aspects.
Great Cloud Alternative from a legacy software powerhouse!
- The auto-scaling feature in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is extremely useful during sudden spikes in volumes being processed. The load balancer works seamlessly and is easy to set up.
- Data storage and security.
- Monitoring dashboard.
- Global footprint is lacking as compared to competitors.
- Integration with more cloud solutions needed(e.g. AWS).
- Support is lacking a bit: slow response and lack of a wide community to help resolve issues.

- Performance is also great, we never experienced performance issues with the resources provided
- Simplicity, the admin portal is difficult to use
- Pricing/Billing details, it was difficult for us to understand the billing model
- Pricing Cost Estimator is also exceedingly difficult to understand/relate, overall, it is hard to know how much something will cost on Oracle Cloud

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure on-demand services like dedicated instance on-demand, provisioning of new resources as per the demand of business or load on the application goes up is quite handy and easy to implement. The documentation part of how to set up quite easy to understand and implement.
The use of autoscaling group to automate the entire infrastructure is quite extraordinary feature and also avoid any kind of human errors and manual intervention.
- Oracle Cloud support is quite good and proactive in terms of any kind of queries or issues.
- Response time is quite and resolution provided them is satisfactory.
- When it comes to the pricing, Oracle Cloud is quite cheap as compare to other cloud providers in the market.
- Navigation of resources in Oracle console is quite easy and not at all messy. User interface is quite human friendly.
- Integration document with other tools can help us better understanding.
- Documentation for the provisioning of resources could be better with examples.
- Adding feature of routing like aws route 53 can be really helpful.
Setting up resources is quite easy and do comes with lot of tutorial vides on case you have problem at any step during provisioning. Documentation part is really well indexed and easy to navigate giving you in depth information about everything.
Champion Cloud - Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Real time dynamic dashboard (Oracle Managed Cloud dashboard) in order to monitor your SLAs (Service Level Agreements) various graphs / charts given in a widget for various features like Monitoring Application Server health, Database Server health checks.
- The paramount is AUTO-SCALING feature in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, during Black Friday and Cyber Monday we noticed huge volumes of request incoming which resulted in customer on-boarding without any Dollar loss. The Load Balancer up-scaled implicitly. At any given point of time the elasticity of the resources can be easily extended.
- Managed services like Data guard makes the DB most reliable.
- OCI global foot print having 21 OCI Regions live across the globe, single AD regions sooner should have with multiple ADs (Availability Domains).
Huge volumes of request/data is easily handled with oracle cloud and the availability of Green/Blue Application Server Clusters
always standby ensures the reliablity of connection.
Easy Migration, Reduced Costs
- Easy and cost effective for customers to migrate on-premises Oracle applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure reduced overhead and operational costs, investments in hardware, and associated maintenance
- Run large workloads at scale without a jump in pricing
- Ability to scale to provide as much (or as little) compute power and storage as you require
- Existing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure components are not enough to implement all cloud solutions
- UI navigation needs improvement
- The user interface has glitches and needs tags to be added to create services
- Integration with other tools or cloud solutions is not straightforward or not available
- Load balancing capability has limited functionality
If you have a combination of Oracle and other applications with heavy or low usage, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure might not help you or involve lots of initial gaps until Oracle Cloud Infrastructure comes up with many more upgrades or features to connect.
