THey are into sales and part of the outreach team. Their job is to curate data to be approached for pre sales activity. They use the available filters and make a list of people and compnaies to target.
This list is important because a lot of time and money is spent on trargeting the wrong people.

The ten individuals come from three business functions - They come from Business Development, Sales, and our Marketing team. These three business functions use the platform in different ways - Marketing uses it for managing Target Accounts Segments & deploying campaigns, Business Development uses it for a inbound account enrichment and outbound prospecting, and Sales uses it for prospecting and expanding sales into accounts.

Soon to be 4 individuals, we will use 6Sense to prioritize and align around accounts on a daily basis for SDR outreach, as well as overarching prioritization of accounts for our GTM. Across marketing (ABM/Demand Generation) and Sales/Business development. We will use the tool and its data as the shared "source of truth."

Both the sales and marketing teams use 6Sense to discover Account intent, understand what they are most interested in and to target specific personas in target accounts. We also use it to build segments for LinkedIn and to refine our ad campaigns. The 6Sense data is also brought into Salesforce.
