Overall Satisfaction with TurboCAD

We use TurboCAD to create scale maps of lakes and ponds with multiple layers highlighting different forms of information. We choose to use TurboCAD because of the compatibility with Google Earth to ensure we have accurate representation of the water bodies.

Pros

  • The range of possibilities for layers
  • It gives precise measurements
  • The UI is user friendly

Cons

  • Some of the load times are lengthy is there a way to streamline this?
  • Path Hatching and Object Trim could use a hot key
  • More intuitive layer management system
  • Our maps stand above other business in our same field
  • The quality and clarity of the maps allow for more precise budgeting
  • Once it the process and program was understood it would take a good hour off of our projects
TurboCAD does all of the things we need it to do and some. The wide variety of options to create specificity in each of our projects is a large plus. The reason it was given a 9 is because the learning curve can be a little steep and sometimes certain processes are not as intuitive as they could be.

Do you think TurboCAD delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with TurboCAD's feature set?

Yes

Did TurboCAD live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of TurboCAD go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy TurboCAD again?

Yes

TurboCAD in our opinion is best used in the commercial world or where projects are being completed. We think that TurboCAD can be a bit intimidating and overkill for the standard user or "DIYer"
