Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
I usually use it to control someone else's computer remotely, when a friend, a client, or a customer is unable to set up something or facing some troubles while dealing with some technical things. In my office, I used it to solve the problems my client was facing overseas. I was able to access his computer remotely and I was able to fix the email connectivity issue that he was having in his computer.
Pros
- Remotely access computers
- File Sharing
- Chat through voice or text
Cons
- The speed needs some work
- The security is good but sometimes it doesn't connect even with the correct password or Username
- If other user is non technical then matching latest versions and then connect is very difficult.
- it helped me keep my clients because I was able to solve problem for them
- It helped me being confident when they face an issue
I used it first in my educational period then in my professional life it helped me from time to time so I can say in my professional career on day 1 I knew I had this software that could be beneficial for some specific issues.
Its simple to use and secure. AnyDesk is pretty open and if you are not very careful anyone can connect who has your username, to keep yourself secure you need to check if you have turned off those settings and if any desk is working or not. Chrome Remote Desktop is good too but I was already comfortable with TeamViewer so I didn't consider it.
Do you think TeamViewer delivers good value for the price?
Yes
Are you happy with TeamViewer's feature set?
Yes
Did TeamViewer live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of TeamViewer go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy TeamViewer again?
Yes
We haven't gotten that far with it we just needed the main features to help our clients out and solve their problems. Their security is something that causes issues in our connection mostly (which is good to keep the system secure) but eventually, we figure it out and can connect with them.
