Overall Satisfaction with Spiff

We use Spiff to track and measure monthly commissions. Historically, we did not have access to real-time commission updates and this helps sales reps to have accurate tracking about deal commissions in real-time. We have used an in-house solution in the past, but Spiff provides a more accurate and streamlined program to help us. Every department on our sales team uses Spiff.

Spiff is easy to use, but the deal-based breakdown of commissions is very hard to interpret in the Excel sheet. They should also only put the deals that are relevant to each month under the month breakdown. Right now, it only shows the total amount and all of the deals YTD. This makes it tougher to find where different deals are impacting the overall number and if there are any changes that need to be made.
I feel like I have a better view of my commissions before getting my monthly checks. In the past, we have had to wait until we were paid and then escalate any problems or questions about pay after it was paid out. Spiff helps to mitigate that workload and automate the process of getting rep-view on pay faster.

Spiff is perfect for ongoing updates of the total breakdown of commission for sales rep views. It is also easy for leaders to see into individual rep commission issues without having to ask for a report from the compensation team. Spiff could be improved to allow for an easier deal-based breakdown of deal payouts and percentages.
