Overall Satisfaction with Shopify Plus

Shopify Plus is used with a variety of clients in order to satisfy needs that are otherwise locked behind traditional Shopify plans such as Basic, Shopify and Advanced.

For example, it enables us to suggest checkout changes that will heighten a client's brand or alternatively provide better UX for customers present and in the future.

Pros

  • Access to an otherwise locked checkout
  • Lower fees for merchants
  • Enables the full feature set that Shopify has to offer
  • B2B Support

Cons

  • Much more focus on quality of life improvements such as navigation duplication
  • Less restrictive components for Checkout editing.
  • Updating Liquid to include more filters
  • Updating the docs to be more developer friendly.
  • Increased client ROI
  • Increased conversion rates
  • Helped drive sales
A far more professional approach to e-commerce in general. Servers and the core SSL are taken care of and you're left with a whole host of tools to sell, sell and sell.

Shopify Plus is well suited to a client who really wants to drive sales throughout the website and also into the Checkout flow - a regular Shopify merchant is unable to do this and so it's one of the biggest benefits to upgrading the client to this.

In addition, there's also the added benefit of Priority support and better server allocation for those with more traffic to their site.
