Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

On my dashboard, Rippling offers many personal applications for various functions: Spend, Time Off, Time and Attendance, Reports, Approvals, E-Verify, My Benefits, Inbox, Notification Center, and My Pay. I have been using some of these applications more than others. Rippling allows me to track my PTO balance, report hours worked, and access health benefits and pay information. Bi-weekly reporting of the hours worked on the Time & Attendance application.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Accurately tracks accrual of Sick leave and Vacation time.
Provides detailed information about used Sick hours and Vacation.
Detailed historical pay statements.
Easy timesheet application allows to report hours worked and make corrections if needed.

Cons

It may be helpful to receive automatic alerts when users forget to enter their worked hours for the pay period so that the company admin does not have to send emails reminding staff to add their hours.
I am unaware of the Reports application on my dashboard. Perhaps it can be removed if I am not supposed to use it. The same can go for other applications if they are outside my functional use.
Adding a video tutorial explaining the features that users may not be aware of may be helpful.

Return on Investment

Direct deposits work very well. You can set a dollar amount or percentage of your paycheck to be deposited into various bank accounts.
A Simple Home page layout, easy-to-view icons, and navigation throughout the Rippling app, website, and its multiple functional applications.
Great video tutorials. I initially did not notice these. Turns out Rippling has these too!

Alternatives Considered

ADP Enterprise HR

Rippling is much easier to navigate than any other similar application I have used in the past. The information you need is two clicks away. In the past, I used other applications. They seemed clunky and complicated to use. The ability to manage banking information is outstanding with Rippling. I have no positive memories about the user-friendliness of any past applications compared to Rippling.

Usability

I give it a score of 10 because, after using it for over two years, I cannot think of any shortcomings so far. This includes the layout of the Home page, the options on the dashboard, and the information displayed on every personal application the staff can use in Rippling.

A very convenient user interface with access to commonly sought information for any employee. You are one click away from your PTO accruals and usage. Quick and easy steps to submit a request for time off. Management can respond to your request immediately. Payment statements are very detailed and can be accessed easily. Tax forms are also available here. Another great feature is SSO, where you can, from Rippling, click and go to see your 401K plan managed by another company. So far, I have not encountered scenarios where Rippling may not be well-suited for my needs.
