Newbie but like what I'm seeing so far!

Overall Satisfaction with Planview Tasktop Viz
Work flow tool to build on an enhance the data gleaned from Rally.
As a Scrum Master, I seek to maximize the flow per iteration and PI, minimize carryover, maximize throughput and minimize team burnout.

Pros
- Visualize via charts and graphs
- Ignore story points
- Allow a great detail of customization
Cons
- As I am still learning the tool, it seems overly complex and non intuitive to me
- Doesn't allow inclusion of colors (i.e. for story types) to be brought over from Rally
- Error messages appear to be obscure at times
- Expect it to increase speed
- Expect it to increase productivity
- Expect it to improve predictability
- Expect it to improve visibility
- Expect it to improve ROI
Though not implemented across my organization yet, expect that Viz can help planning based on knowing historical delivery volume, speed and cadence. Knowing past should help forecast future strategy.
I expect it will for both of my teams and ideally, across the organization.
Much more advanced and customizable than iterations of the above tools I've used. But more focused on Flow metrics than others. And more complex, IMO.
