We use OwnBackup for backing up our Salesforce Service Cloud instance as well as archiving and un-archiving the vast amount of emails we receive. This allows us to save on Salesforce storage space by removing emails from the system, while still giving users the ability to quickly pull those records back into Salesforce if needed.
- The archiving features of this product have had an ROI of $18K for storage costs recurring annually
- We have not had to do a full restore of backups, but if we did loose data and have to perform a full restore OwnBackup would easily become our most valuable tool
