Overall Satisfaction with Okta
We use Okta to drive a workflow from our HRIS system. This workflow onboards staff into our company including door access cards, timecards, software licensing, etc, right down to their name on their nametags. Once onboarded Okta performs as our foundation for single sign-on.
Pros

Cons
- Tiered pricing options - Okta pricing can be complex and can be an impediment to expanding its use.
- Enhance reporting - could provide better insights into user security & use
- Workflow for our onboarding process has become much more consistent and efficient, cutting down onboarding time by over 60%
- By tying to our HRIS our security risks have dropped due to automatic offboarding from electronic systems and door access
This has not impacted us.
Okta has always been helpful in not only solving issues we have run into, but suggesting best practices that have changed the way we were approaching a task, leading to a better outcome.
We have not had a single outage since we started to use Okta. This is key for our industry as we can have operations at any time of day, and there is never a "good time" to be down.
