Nextiva, a great phone program for small business
Overall Satisfaction with Nextiva Business Phone Service
We use Nextiva for our primary phone and have since 2009. I really enjoy the primary phone the features and have leveraged the international calling programs when I had teams in the UK and India. Often my teams are no in a position to use Zoom or Webex so the access provided by Nextiva's phone program is wonderful.
Pros
- I enjoy the voicemail feature that will forward my messages to an email address
- We use the feature that rings phones in multiple locations, they helps when you're on the road and don't want to miss a call.
- Nextiva support is always available to me and resolves issues quickly
Cons
- I'm on an older platform so the UI is not as feature-rich as the newer one.
- With the older platform, the online technical support doesn't align. I would prefer to answer my own questions rather than calling the support line. Better online support would allow me to do this.
- Occasionally my phone needs to be rebooted, I can never tell if this is Nextiva or my desktop VOIP phone. I would prefer a notification when this happens if it's related to Nextiva.
- I cannot use the desktop application, it's not supported with the older platform I'm using.
- I've been on Nextiva for years. When I moved from Vonage I experienced both cost savings and improved performance.
- Nextiva has consistently been a more financially attractive option than other services I've reviewed.
- As companies move to systems like Teams, the quality of the calls drops precipitously, with Nextiva I don't have that issue.
