Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used usually for organizing our monthly workload into a Kanban board and for some project milestones overview. We use it because it is a bit less complex than other existing tools and more user friendly. We also use it in a creative way when all the team needs to create a strategy for a certain idea/product and everyone needs/wants to chip in.

Pros

  • Interface is user friendly
  • Intuitive, easy to use
  • Multiple boards options, multiple functionalities
  • Love the templates for different domains

Cons

  • Kanban is good but standard, the same product offered by other companies
  • Nothing to bothersome, but learning all the functionalities of the Kanban or various boards takes a while
  • A short tutorial is missing and would be welcomed (I mean a short video tutorial)
  • Miroverse (example of Miro projects made by other users)
  • About 10% increase in productivity (but may vary depending on the project)
  • Better focus on objectives as they are more clearly defined thanks to Kanban board
  • Improved team communication (can't quantify in an exact number or percentage)
I personally recommended Miro and am satisfied with the results. We use it from time to time and not on a daily basis. The key factor in having the platform used in our organization stood in the share-across-the-team functionality couple with the friendly interface. Overall I am happy the implementation made a minor but good difference across the organization.
The collaboration increased but within the team but not across multiple teams within the same organization. Not all new projects are tackled via Miro, but rather the old ones that needed a refresh and a new way to conceptualize existing problems and processes. Not all team members are yet familiar with Miro and its functionalities.
I find Miro's interface quite similar to Canva's. The same degree of difficulty to learn and use, but in the end a powerful tool and generally liked by its users. I couldn't add a qualifier between these two - I've used Canva before, and I think multiple users can work on the same project but not collaborate in the same way they can in Miro.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Kanban - a lot of functionalities and I personally like that one can pick the color palette, adjust the grid, background color and more (overall quite similar to Canva as a concept). Kanban is well-suited for project planning.
I feel like it depends on the skill of the user to adjust the use of Miro to different cases.
